THE 3RD KAUNAS INTERNATIONAL PRINTMAKING BIENNIAL “BEAUTY“

M. Žilinskas Art Gallery
Augustas Bidlauskas „Meteoras“

3rd Kaunas International Printmaking Biennial “Beauty” returns to the ambition to present works done with classical printmaking techniques. Artists are asked to reveal to the viewer that beauty is multifaceted, thoughtful and not always in the plain form that we sometimes understand. The purpose of this exhibition is to reveal the positive side of art, to encourage every participant of the exhibition to reflect on his/her point of view and to interpret the term so that it does not stray to the primitive perception of this word.

This year we have more than 40 participants from 14 countries: Adriano Castro (Brazil), Agata Dworzak Subocz (Poland), Aistė Ramūnaitė (Lithuania), Alejandra Coirini (Argentina), Aleksandra Prusinowska (Poland), Anna Trojanowska (Poland), Augustas Bidlauskas (Lithuania), Cleo Wilkinson (Australija), Cui Xiaohua (China), Dzhurayeva Olesya (Ukraine), Edvin Dragičevic (Croatia), Eglė Vertelkaitė (Lithuania), Elvyra K.
