M. K. ČIURLIONIS' VIRTUAL REALITY FILM "TRAIL OF ANGELS" IS ALREADY AT THE M. K. ČIURLIONIS NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ART!
The virtual reality film "Trails of Angels", the winner of prestigious international and national competitions, is a work by Kristina Buožytė and Vitalijus Žukas, dedicated to the creations of the artist, composer, and pioneer of abstract art Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis.
The virtual reality film invites you to get acquainted with 60 well-known and easily recognizable and less visible paintings by the Lithuanian artist in VR space: "Serenity", "Angels (Paradise)", "The Altar", "Angel", "News", "The Sun". Separate fragments of some of the paintings are also shown in the film: environment, objects, details, lights, sky, earth. The 25-minute journey "Trail of Angels" is accompanied by M. K. Čiurlionis' and composer Mindaugas Urbaitis' music. Throughout the film, the surroundings react to the viewer's gaze: careful observation of the environment changes it, enriches it, and brings it closer to the original paintings of M. K. Čiurlionis.
