On March 22 at 1 p.m. we invite you to a meeting with the artists of the exhibition "From Amber to the Stars. Together with M. K. Čiurlionis: Now and Then" Miguel Rothschild (Germany/Argentina), Mariele Neudecker (Germany), Kristina Õllek (Estonia), Joe Gerhardt (Semiconductor, United Kingdom).

is a Berlin-based artist known for his innovative approach to materials and conceptual playfulness. Educated in Buenos Aires and Berlin, he has received multiple scholarships, including from the Kultursenat in Berlin and the Kulturfond Foundation. His work has been widely exhibited in Europe, China, and beyond, including at Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, the Berlinische Galerie, and Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires.

???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? (b. 1965, Germany)

is a Bristol-based artist working across sculpture, painting, film, and photography. She explores the intersections of nature, technology, and the Sublime, creating immersive environments that challenge perceptions of the natural world. She has exhibited internationally, with solo shows at institutions like Ikon Gallery and Tate St Ives. She is a professor at Bath School of Art and co-director of the Mariele Research Center, focusing on the convergence of art, science, and environmental studies.

is a Tallinn-based visual artist whose practice spans photography, video, and installation. She investigates marine ecosystems, geological transformations, and human impact on nature through a research-driven yet speculative lens. Her works have been exhibited in institutions such as KUMU Art Museum, Fotomuseum Winterthur, and the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia, and are held in international museum collections.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????? (Ruth Jarman & Joe Gerhardt, UK)

is an artist duo exploring the intersection of science, technology, and art. Their works transform scientific data into moving images, sculptures, and drawings that question human perception of the natural world. They have collaborated with CERN, NASA, and other leading research institutions, exhibiting globally at major biennials, museums, and film festivals, including the Hirshhorn Museum, Centre Pompidou, and the Sundance Film Festival.

The event will be moderated by Virginija Vitkienė. The event will be held in English (without translation).

The announced event is a part of the weekend programme dedicated to the exhibition "FROM AMBER TO THE STARS. TOGETHER WITH M. K. ČIURLIONIS: NOW AND THEN".
