CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT "MUSIC PARALLELS"

Saturday, March 9, 3 p.m. we invite you to the chamber music concert "Musical Parallels" by Oksana Protas (violin, Ukraine) and Marija Mirovska (piano, Lithuania).

The presented program will feature works by Lithuanian and Ukrainian composers for violin and piano duet. Almost all of the pieces performed were created in the 20th century, and they introduce listeners to the various musical styles characteristic of this era, from romantic music to modern compositional techniques. The use of folk motifs as a source of inspiration in the work of composers deserves special attention. The program will feature the works of Andrij Štogarenko, Vytautas Barkauskas, Viktoras Kosenko.
