we invite you to the concert of pianist Athina Giliopoulou (Greece).

Athina Giliopoulou is a keyborad instrument specialist playing the piano, the harpsichord and the fortepiano. Her repertoire includes works from early barock until contemporary music.

The concert program will feature works by M. K. Čiurlionis and other composers - J. Brahms, Ch. V. Alkan, Béla Bartók, M. Kalomoires and F. Chopin.

Athina Giliopoulou studied modern piano, harpsichord and fortepiano at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and in Graz, as well at the J.-J.-Fux Conservatory in Graz, modern piano and music theory in Thessaloniki. She graduated from all them with distinction.

The greek pianist and harpsichordist lives and works in Vienna. She has been from 2006-2012 member of the Barock Ensemble of the Johann-Joseph-Fux- Konservatorium Graz, she has been member of the Ensemble für Neue Musik Graz from 2004-2010 , with which she has played many first performances of contemporary music, including some personal dedications from the composers. She has given concerts as a solist as well as in chamber music formations in Austria, France, Germany, Slovakia, Croatia, Egypt, Greece and has appeared in many festivals.
