M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art

On April 14 at 11.00 a.m. we invite Ukrainian women to join the circle - be together, share experiences, and drink some tea.

In the cozy space of the museum, sitting down in the circle, we will have an activity where you can be as you are, write, draw, talk or just stay quiet. The healing circle will be led by Sigita, an art therapist and pioneer of the art therapy, assisted by volunteer Giedrė, a creative art therapist, and designer Augutė. Educator Rūta will take care of the children. The soul of M.K.Čiurlionis Library and Information Center Gabrielė and other volunteers will take care of the hall, tea, water and other important matters.

How will it go? We will begin the circle with tea, we will share our emotional "basket", and we will perform therapeutic writing exercises. Later we will go around museum spaces and exhibition halls. After a meditative walk and admiring the colors and pictures, we will return to M.K. Čiurlionis music hall, where we will have therapeutic drawing exercises. In the final stage, we will create a collective Mandala “Community” with pastels and pencils. After the session you will be able to visit other expositions of the museum.
