We have prepared a brief overview on the history of the Presidential Palace, the provisional capital Kaunas, and the political context of that time. It is about the founding and development of the institution of the President, his powers outlined by the Constitution. Visitors will get to know interesting facts about the Presidents of the First Republic of Lithuania, political and social activities, their families, leisure time, and personal belongings. During this tour, we also speak about the President’s institution of restored independent Lithuania (after 1990) and the Presidents from 1993 until the present day.
